Leah Gillanders | Owner

Leah has always had a passion for motorsports and after years of working in the automotive industry, she decided to start a shop of her own. She is one of the few Red Seal Certified mechanic women in Canada. Among many other certifications and qualifications, we know your car is in the best hands.

Davis Owen | Mechanic

Davis was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC. He started out as a marine mechanic and realized his passion was actually in automotive. Davis has been working at Leah’s ever since. His dream car is a 1972 Chevy C10 pickup. His favorite part of working at Leah’s is the team.

Joey Pullen | Mechanic

Joey was born and raised in Zimbabwe, Africa. He has been working with Leah since the very beginning of the shop. Joey specializes in Alfa Romeo and has been working as a mechanic for over 30 years. His favourite part of working at Leah’s is Leah because she’s the best boss in the world!

JORDAN BABKOWSKI | Parts & Administration

Jordan was born and raised in North Vancouver. She has been in the parts world nearly her whole working life. She started in Marine but could not stay away from the energy of Leah and the team, She has grown to love the fast car life but her favorite car still is a GMC Denali pickup.

Dean | General Manager

Dean was born and raised in Vancouver BC. He is bilingual and speaks fluent Serbian.

He has been working in the automotive industry for over 6 years. His favourite part of Leah’s Auto is working alongside talented technicians and our pet squirrel Rebecca. Dean’s dream car is BMW M8.

Sasha Spencer | Apprentice Mechanic

Sasha was born and raised in Tsawwassen, BC. Growing up, she was never quite sure which career path to take until she started working with cars. As one of Leah’s apprentices she clicked immediately with the team and is now on track to excel in her automotive career. Her dream car is a BMW M5, M3 or a first or second generation Tacoma. Sasha’s favourite part of working at Leah’s Automotive are her colleagues.
